Avoided a protracted labor dispute by negotiating collective bargaining agreements with suburban Teamsters local on behalf of our client, a major building material supplier.
Defeated a labor grievance in arbitration based upon the law of the shop on behalf of a our client, a major building material supplier.
Obtained a settlement in a securities fraud case involving $2 million in losses, as well as breach of fiduciary duty and civil RICO claims, in New Jersey District Court after 2 years of intense litigation.
Settled a commercial dispute between a storage facility and a large institutional customer concerning the cost for the removal of thousands of stored files, avoiding a potentially costly trial.
On Behalf of Individual Clients
Secured a Settlement of $1.35 million for the plaintiff in a corporate dissolution case in New Jersey Superior Court after 14 months of acrimonious litigation.
Secured the temporary release of a father convicted of second degree child endangerment pending sentencing based upon the existence of serious issues of prosecutorial misconduct and unfair prejudice at trial, including attacks on his credibility based upon his deafness, which were being raised on appeal.
Secured admission to Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI) for a defendant charged with 2nd degree unlawful possession of a handgun.
Obtained the dismissal of indictments on first amendment grounds against a psychologist unfairly indicted for maintaining a relationship with his former patient.
Prevailed at trial and obtained the dismissal of tenure charges against two teachers wrongly accused of orchestrating cheating during the administration of statewide standardized testing.
Settled a wrongful termination action against one of New Jersey’s largest municipalities, post-hearing, ensuring client received optimal back pay amount.
Won multiple arbitration awards for employees in which discipline at issue was voided entirely.
Settled two longstanding matrimonial actions prior to trial, avoiding potentially costly trials.
